Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 October 2026

These terms cover your use of the Dog Training with Biscuit iOS app (“Biscuit”, “we”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The app

Biscuit is a dog training app that organises real, trainer-led lesson videos into a daily plan, personalised to your dog, with a cartoon guide character, practice tools and an AI chat. It is designed for general, positive-reinforcement training guidance and is not a substitute for professional veterinary or behavioural advice.

Lesson videos

All lesson videos are real YouTube videos, played inside YouTube's own embedded video player. We don't host, re-encode or own this video content. By watching a lesson you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of related data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Lesson videos are free to watch for everyone; a subscription is never required to watch a lesson. An optional subscription unlocks the rest of the app — the daily training plan, the tricks collection and Ask Biscuit.

Ask Biscuit

Ask Biscuit is an AI chat feature, clearly labelled as AI, that answers general training questions in character. It is not a vet, a certified trainer or a behaviourist, and its answers should not be treated as professional advice. Biscuit is instructed to point you to a vet or a certified trainer or behaviourist for aggression, bites, health, injury, poisoning or severe anxiety, and we also check messages for warning signs and show a “please see a professional” card. We may limit the number of messages you can send per day.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. Where offered, a free trial's length and the price that follows are shown before you start a purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, not in the app. We don't see or store your payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable use

Use the app for its intended purpose: training your own dog. Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or abuse the app, the Ask Biscuit chat, or the services it relies on.

No guarantees

We don't promise specific training results or timelines. Progress depends on your dog, consistency and many factors outside the app's control. The app and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.

Your data

What we collect and how it's used is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete everything the app has stored at any time from Settings → Delete my data inside the app.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
